Image Transfer on Clay

2 Day Workshop | Registration opens 2026-10-15 12:00 PM

This 2 day hands on workshop will introduce students to multiple image transfer techniques. Each day will start with a demonstration followed by hands on time to practice and experiment on prepared leather hard clay tiles. Using underglazes, slips, newsprint, gel plates and more, you will learn mono printing, screen and relief printing along with creative ways to layer and combine them to develop your own individual style. Students are welcome to bring in their own premade leather hard clay artwork to decorate (4-6 small to medium pieces). Please note, students will take their unfired leather hard work with them at the end of each day. All levels of clay and decorating experience are welcome.

Base Tuition: $250 + Material Fee: $25 = $275 Total
