In this new and exciting and course of mono printing beyond paper you will discover the creative possibilities of Gelli Plat Printing and Collaging on three-dimensional surfaces. Working with wood, cork, cardboard, found objects and more, you will learn how to create unique prints and layered designs, experimenting with masks, stencils, images, textures and mark making, transforming ordinary objects and materials into unique works of art.
You will explore collaging and decoupaging techniques to build layers, add visual interest, and transform your printed surfaces. Through demonstrations and guided instruction, you’ll learn about techniques for transferring colour, pattern, texture, and imagery onto irregular and three-dimensional surfaces. Each class will encourage playful experimentation and creative problem-solving as you discover how different materials respond to mono printing and how to adapt your techniques to unexpected forms and possibilities to create a series of work.
