Discover the joy of painting while building a solid artistic foundation! This beginner-friendly acrylic painting course covers essential concepts including colour theory, value studies and the mechanics of tints and shades. Through hands-on projects, you will paint from still-life setups, try your hand at portraiture and branch into abstract techniques. Beyond technical skills, this class emphasizes creative expression, encouraging you to experiment with different ways to communicate your personal vision through paint.

Base Tuition: $342 + Material Fee: $8 = $350 Total

Bri is a Toronto-based visual artist and art educator specializing in drawing and painting. With over five years of experience teaching art to students of all ages, her practice explores memory, the Everyday, and the beauty found in routine moments. Working primarily from photographic references, Bri examines the relationship between photography and painting as forms of remembering. Her paintings recontextualize fleeting images, transforming them through emotion, symbolism, and materiality. Her work bridges the present and past, inviting viewers to reflect on moments often overlooked or forgotten.

Bri holds a Bachelors of Fine Art (Honours) from OCAD University and has exhibited her work in group and solo exhibitions across Toronto.
