Worldbuilidng: Designing Characters, Props and Environments

12 Week Class | Registration opens 2026-07-02 12:00 PM

In this design class, students will be introduced to the visual development process while exploring characters, props and environments. Students will learn how concept artists use shape, perspective, composition, and storytelling to create immersive worlds. Each week we will explore a different concept, (vehicle design, characters, props) and focus on a specific design challenge they present.
At the end of the course students will have a variety of designs they can combine together to complete a final complex illustration.
