Plants & Pollinators: Drawing & Monoprinting

10 Week Class ONLINE | Registration opens 2025-10-14 12:00 PM

Immerse yourself into the intricate world of plants and pollinators in this creative online course combining art-making and ecological curiosity. Explore the interdependent roles of insects and plants - from pollination to camouflage to habitat.

Demonstrations and presentations will guide you to develop your own imagery, design custom stencils, and experiment with Gelli plate printing to create vibrant, textured prints. We’ll explore how to build dynamic compositions by layering backgrounds, adding drawn elements and combining natural forms in imaginative ways. Student work will be shown and discussed at the end of each class and individual feedback and guidance will be part of each session. Handouts for further exploration will also be provided.

Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course nurtures both technical skills and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

Note:  There will be no class on February 16- Family Day
