Expressive Landscape Painting in Acrylics
8 Week Class ONLINE | Registration opens 2025-04-05 12:00 PM
The preservation of the earth and protection of the planet from climate change are critical human responsibilities. Forest Bathing and Ecotherapy are new buzz words that reflect the healing qualities of nature. This brings us to creating an emotional and painterly rendering of the landscape. Historically artists like Soutine, Van Gogh and Canada’s Tom Thomson were highly expressive in their passion for their surroundings. Understanding the need to add energetic, expressive and gestural brush strokes to capture your emotional interpretation of the land around you is the primary focus of this course.
