Explore the timeless beauty of landscape painting by studying its evolution from classical traditions to contemporary approaches. This course offers a comprehensive overview of techniques, styles, and compositional methods used by artists throughout history. You’ll learn to create your own landscapes by combining traditional methods with modern interpretations, using a variety of mediums and approaches. Whether inspired by classical landscapes or abstract depictions, this course encourages you to develop your unique artistic voice.

Notes:
- This course will be taught using acrylics, however oil painters (using odorless spirits only) are welcome.
- This course is best suited for people with painting experience.

Refahi, Leila
Leila Refahi

Leila is an experienced art teacher and researcher with a demonstrated history of working in Visual Art. She has taught painting and drawing in different art schools and universities in Canada, Finland, Germany and Iran since 2011. Leila works with painting, installation and digital media to create participatory art experiences. Her work mainly focuses on environmental issues, climate change and endangered animals. She is interested in socially engaged art and its impact on raising and transforming environmental knowledge in communities. She has presented six solo exhibitions and participated in over 60 national & international group exhibitions and festivals.
