The Zen of Drawing

10 Week Class ONLINE | Available

Drawing can sooth our nervous system, sharpen our senses, and improve our concentration. This course encourages a “beginner’s mind” approach to drawing (for new or more experienced students). We will take a playful and experimental approach, learning to improvise and draw from observation. Using charcoal, graphite, India ink, and coloured media, students will develop their grasp of line, shading, and composition. Each class will begin with gentle mindful movement and guided exercises. There will also be slideshows focused on one or several artists to open doorways for discussion and inspiration.>Students will have the opportunity to slow down, connect with their senses, and observe with clarity and precision.

Base Tuition: $480
