The Art of the Story

4 Day Workshop | Available

Mark making, line breaking, all art is leaping: all art is witness. Like painting and drawing, writing too entails using skills and leaping into a creative process. The Art of the Story is a four day writing workshop that will help you tap into visual images that enable literary ideas to surface. In this workshop, you will explore new or existing writing (memoir, novel, or poetry) in a non-threatening and fun way. Through doodling, noodling, collage and word clustering, participants will learn the importance of imagination and play in the creative process while diving deep into scenes that have been lingering as feelings, intuition, vague memories, or sentence fragments and coaxing them into the visual landscape of an unforgettable story.

Notes:
- This workshop is for artists and writers working at all levels.
- Workshop takes place on August 19, 20, 21, 22nd: 10AM-1PM

Base Tuition: $240.00
