Open Critique with Tom Campbell
9 Week Class ONLINE | This course has been canceled
The focus of this ONLINE course will be based on constructive critiques of student work in order to help move the creative process forward. This is an online 2 hour group session where participants will be working from their own home studios and in each class, students will have an opportunity for at least one short critique of either work presently being worked on; a past piece; or, a piece that is in the developmental stages. Student's work can be in paint (oil, acrylics, watercolour or gouache), sculpture or drawing. Photographs of the work can be emailed to the instructor before class or shown at the time of class.
This course is loosely structured, consisting of the combination of individual critiques along with short group lectures by the instructor. These lectures can focus around techniques of artistic craft, philosophical notions involved in the making of Fine Art and other topics of interest to students. Students may choose to participate in the discussion or be actively making their work during each session.
