Take your samples, embroideries, patchwork or favorite fabric and sew a rice bag. Bring your sewing machine and thread to match your fabric pieces. Bring basic sewing supplies such as pins and scissors. We’ll discuss using fleece liner or quilting. Instructor will send more details before class. Kits will be available for purchase if desired.
AGE: 16 and up
**This Class has a special tuition rate for children. At the top of the page, select Youth Discount. At checkout, a child's tuition will be discounted to $20. The student must be registered as a child in your account profile to receive the discount
- MATERIALS FEE: $5 paid to instructor for fusible fleece if desired.
- STUDENT SUPPLIES: Basic sewing supplies, fabric and lining, fusible fleece if desired or can purchase. Will send list of sizes.
Lynda DeLallo
From an early age Lynda was a “fabric fondler” which opened doors to sewing, weaving, dyeing and spinning wool, felt, knitting and more. She majored in Fashion Design at VA Commonwealth University and has gone on a journey creating all kinds of wearable items. A member of WGR since 2012 she has developed many friendships and learned at WAFAC and guild workshops.
