This is the first in a series of classes on credentials, password & passkey management on Windows 11 systems.  In this class we will look at:

• A brief history of password management in computing
• The usage of credentials and passwords on Windows 11
• And finally, Microsoft Edge, with a sidelong glance at Google Chrome on the way past

The primary purpose of this series of classes is to enable students to manage all their online credentials with the minimal use of their notes or memories.  The main aim is to enable students to manage their online credentials (passwords, user IDs, login, URLs, etc.). 

The class was first presented in August and has been revised substantially in response to feedback from the attendees.
