Most of us have heard the term “ChatGPT” by now, along with conversations about its benefits and risks.

This class introduces the basics of ChatGPT and its evolution—from early chatbots to today’s generative AI technologies. You'll learn what generative AI is, how it works, and practical ways to use it.

Optional Participation:

Students may bring their login credentials (email address and password) for their OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft, or Google accounts to fully engage in the hands-on exercises. Bringing a personal laptop is also welcomed but not required.

This class is a recommended prerequisite to Yori's new class "Using ChatGPT".
