This class introduces essential concepts for organizing files on your computer using File Explorer.
Participants will learn best practices for creating an intuitive folder structure, avoiding desktop clutter, and simplifying file retrieval. By understanding how to categorize and store files effectively, attendees will save time and reduce frustration when searching for important documents. This class lays the groundwork for a more efficient, organized, and stress-free digital workspace, and accessibility. Attendees will gain insights into backup strategies to protect valuable data and ensure file recovery in case of device failure. By the end of the class, participants will be equipped with practical skills to maintain an organized and secure digital workspace.
IF you wish to participate in the exercises and gain maximum benefit from the class, you'll need to bring your Google account login credentials and your cell phone to retrieve the authentication code for your google account. If you don't have an account, create a Google account at home as we might not have enough time to do so at the class.
Prerequisite: Basic Computer knowledge/skills.
