This study group combines history, science, and exploration, guiding members through humanity’s relationship with the ocean—from early breath-hold divers to modern deep-sea submersibles capable of reaching the ocean’s greatest depths. We will explore the development of diving technology, underwater expeditions, marine archaeology, and the enduring mystery and discovery surrounding the RMS Titanic.
