Participants will explore historical precedent, current laws, significant court cases, and executive orders issued by Donald Trump, analyzing their impact on modern First Amendment protections.

The discussion will also examine free speech rights for immigrants, including recent cases where individuals faced visa revocations or detentions due to their political speech. Additionally, participants will review Trump’s executive orders targeting law firms that represented his opponents or pursued cases against him.
